Directions: In Maine, traveling North or South on I295: Use exit 28 into Brunswick, Rt. #1 North. At third traffic light continue straight. At the second traffic light turn left onto Maine St. (downtown Brunswick). Continue on Maine St. and cross green bridge. Border Trust Business Center is the first building on the left. Turn left onto Summer St. and go around the building to the parking lot. OR Take Exit 31 onto Rt. #196 (Topsham Fair Mall). At fourth traffic light turn right onto Rt. #201/Main St. Follow Main Street for one mile and turn right onto Summer St. and go around the building to the parking lot.
Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber (SMMC) was formed in 1994 as the result of consolidation of the Bath and Brunswick Area Chambers of Commerce. SMMC encompasses a service area composed of the following communities: Brunswick, Bath, Topsham, Harpswell, Wiscasset, Richmond, Woolwich, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Phippsburg, West Bath, Dresden, Edgecomb, Georgetown, Westport Island and Arrowsic. SMMC is one of the largest Chambers of Commerce in Maine.
SMMC is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the membership and has a professional staff. The office is located at Border Trust Business Center, 2 Main Street, Topsham, ME 04086. Approximately one third of the directors are elected each year to serve a three year term.
